2026 Division B Winners Winners: The O's

Another Fantastic Tournament Weekend!

Another fantastic weekend of softball is in the books, and Mother Nature certainly did her part. The weather was almost perfect, the games were exciting, and Greenfield Park was once again filled with players, families, friends and fans.

The Smoking Bats continued their incredible run, capturing their 5th consecutive tournament championship in the Women’s Division. In Division A, the Saints started what we hope will be another winning streak by claiming their second Division A championship in a row.

We also saw some very healthy 50/50 draws, helping raise even more money for Montreal's MacKay Centre School and other local charities.

This year’s tournament was also marked by a very sad loss. We lost our longtime friend Emmett Kearney, who passed away suddenly just one day before the 2026 tournament. Emmett was a big part of the tournament family, and his presence will be deeply missed. We’ll soon be adding a special page to this website dedicated to Emmett and the many years he spent as part of the tournament.

A huge thank you to all the players, organizers, umpires, volunteers, sponsors, fans and visitors who continue, year after year, to make this charity softball tournament so special. It takes an incredible number of people to make a weekend like this happen, and we’re grateful to every one of you. Mike Reid would be proud.
