With on and off rain throughout the weekend, the 39th annual Mike Reid Memorial Softball tournament was still another huge sucess! Excitement was in the air in the final game of the Men's Dvision A. The Mavericks won the game in the bottom of the seventh inning when they loaded the bases on a bunch of singles and won it with a line drive up the middle. Final score was 8-7 over the Dawgers.

We reached the ONE MILLION DOLLAR mark in money raised at the 2022 tournament for the MacKay Centre School and other local charities!!! A huge thank you to everyone from the first 38 years of the tournament.
Mullins Sports was a huge supporter of our tournament and many other sports teams and tournaments in Greenfield Park. Owner Brendan Mullins retired late last year and he will be missed.

After two years of the pandemic, we were back at Empire Park for the 38th year of the Mike Reid Tournament. People were eager to return to the park and we saw record attendance on all four days. With the return to the park, it was the year we surpassed the one-million-dollar mark in money raised for the MacKay Centre School and other local charities.
