The 2022 Tournament

The 2022 Mike Reid Memorial Softball Tournament will be played August 11 to 14 at Empire Park in Greenfield Park with the draw for teams, August 1, 2022 at the Greenfield Park Legion.

After two years of doing a virtual tournament, our regular tournament is back! We had so much fun with the virtual tournament, we plan to continue with some of the more popular parts of the virtual tournament. Back are the online sales for the cooler raffle draw and the 50-50 Draw with tickets sold online and at the park. We are also bringing back the virtual tournament to give people and teams an opportunity to compete without getting physical. The virtual tournament will run along side of the actual tournament.

The Frank Reid Memorial Golf Tournament is back on Friday, August 12 at Club de Golf Rive-Sud in St-Basile-le-Grand.

The 2022 Mike Reid Memorial Softball Tournament will take place over 4 days, August 11 to 14, 2022.

  • Thursday: 19:00 - 23:00
  • Friday: 17:45 - 23:00
  • Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 - 23:00

• We have a full-service restaurant on site. Meal items include hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, souvlaki and more. Drinks include bottled water, soft drinks, juice, coffee and more.
• Schwartz's Deli will have a kiosk on site selling their famous smoked meat sandwiches. This is Saturday only beginning at 5:30 and while supplies last.
• A beer tent serving Labatt Products and assorted Palm Bay drinks. The Mike Reid Weekend beer cart will also serve you beer while you are sitting in the grandstands watching a game!
• A wine tent operated by Winnie's Bar - Montreal.
• Mixed vodka drinks tent operated by Scotyz Bar - St-Hubert.
• Our house band Side FX plays under the tent on Friday and Saturday from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. Greg Inniss will be playing Saturday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

Friendly Reminders

• Dogs are not permitted in most parks in Greenfield Park.
• The Mike Reid Weekend is a charity event. The point of the weekend is to raise money for charity. Most of the money raised comes through the sales of food, alcohol and beer. Bringing in outside alcohol or beer is not permitted.

• Buy a $2.00 virtual beer or drink! Ya, it's only virtual but it's a great way to donate to the tournament if you can not actually be there. Payable by e-transfer.


• Purchase a number in our draw for the cool Mike Reid Patio Cooler made and donated by Bill Barfoot. Cost is $10.00 and there are only 200 squares available. Payable by e-transfer.


• Our popular 50-50 draw. Purchase tickets at the park or if you cannot make it to the tournament, you can purchase tickets online. This is gonna get huge!!


• Participate in our virtual tournament.


• Advertise your business at the tournament. There are two methods to do this. Have your banner on the fence in Empire Park or place your ad on the Mike Reid website. Cost for banner placement in the park is $200.00. Cost per advertisement on the website and Facebook page is $75.00. Size of website advertisement is 400 pixels x 130 pixels.
